Advice Please ...

So I really want to start introducing sign language to Brigg. I have seen a few different Dvds online and have no idea which one to get. If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE pass them my way so I can get this darn DVD ordered already. Thank you :)

I heard signing times is really good. But it is a little expensive. I think it is such a good idea to teach kids sign language at a young age.

We're trying to teach Sam some basic signs (milk, more, all done, potty, outside, hungry etc). I think he understands hungry and milk. He always laughs when I do the sign for "sleepy" though, so maybe he doesn't quite get that one... I just got a book at the library that had drawings of the signs, photocopied them and made flashcards. It was really quick to learn because they're so intuitive. Then I just do the sign whenever I say the word. I guess we won't know for a few months whether or not our method is working, but I'm hoping he'll learn enough signs to just get him through the frustrating period before he can talk.
Let me know if you try some DVDs that work out well; maybe we'll have to borrow them!

I used signing time and I loooved it. It enertains kids early on and teaches at the same time. Works awsome. and it is so nice to have them able to communicate. trust me once Brigg starts sqwaking for everything you'll be loving signing!
